DONALD R. BOER
Donald Richard Boer, 68, of Adams, Wis. died Tuesday, June 24, 2003, at the Department of Veterans Affairs in Tomah, Wis.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m., Monday at Roseberry's Funeral Home and Crematory, Friendship, Wis. Military rites will be offered by the Adams VFW Post 6279, Adams American Legion Red Cloud Post 250, and Grand Marsh American Legion Snyder-Richardson Post 273.
Mr. Boer was born Sept. 25, 1934, in the Adams County town of Lincoln, to John M. and Hazel (Bisbee) Boar, Sr.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving for eight years, until he was injured and went on disability. After returning to Adams he worked part-time painting signs.
Survivors include three sisters, Betty Rose, Grand Marsh, Wis., Doris M. (Kenneth) Collins, Friendship and Isabel L. Bilodeau, Bradenton, Fl.; and one brother, John J. (Jane) of Friendship.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 10-11 a.m. Monday.
