Patch lies patiently at our feet as we toil away on the family tree. She came to us with her own meticulously documented family history, but so far, has shown no particular interest in it. She loves playing "chase" and wrestling with other dogs, barking just for fun, following a scent, rolling in mud, riding in our truck, scratching her right ear, and begging for food. At the moment she just sleeps, and dreams, and waits for whatever adventure comes next. |
What's New From The Webmaster?29 Jul 2007: Karen Elaine Watson Bisbee (1952-2007) passed away at Mentor, Ohio, after a long struggle with MS and cancer. She is buried in the family plot at the Wattsburg Cemetery, Wattsburg, Pennsylvania. I discovered new information last summer that contains an interesting story about Reuben Bisbee going to sea and being captured by pirates. You will find it in the genealogy section under Reuben Bisbee (first generation). I've added a new section to display some photos of various family and family-related gravestones. It is organized by cemetery and I will be adding more cemeteries and photos whenever I have the time. In addition to gravestones, I will be adding a few personal photos in the same section. For instance see my grandparents' Adelbert and Ethel Bisbee gravestone at Wattsburg cemetery. 18 August 2008: We updated the genealogy section to reflect new information provided by many "cousins" over the past few months. One of the great benefits of the BisbeeFamily Website is the number of people contacting us with new or corrected information we never would have been aware of otherwise. We hope you will continue to provide input. We also became aware of printing problems with some of the pages containing photographs. It turned out to be a problem mostly with MS Internet Explorer (that's why FireFox has become so popular.) We've rewritten most of the site's pages to correct the problem and improve printed output. Suggestions are always welcome.
